[Frequently Asked Questions](https://help.lendingwise.com/knowledge/frequently-asked-questions?hsLang=en) # Scheduled emails: set up and cancel ## Schedule an email from a loan file, and cancel scheduled emails one at a time or all at once. You can set an email on a loan file to go out on a schedule, and cancel scheduled emails all at once or one at a time, right from the loan file. ### Schedule an email 1. Open the loan file and click the **Compose Email** icon in the file header (the fourth icon). 2. Write the email, or pick a template. If you pick a template, its body is locked. 3. Set **Do you Want To Automate The Email** to Yes. 4. Choose how often it goes out: Every Week Day, Every Other Weekday, Once A week, or Custom Dates (pick the days on a calendar). Set an End Date. With Custom Dates, End Date is greyed out. 5. If you want, use the file status options to stop the emails, or only send them, when the file is in certain statuses. 6. Send the email. The message still says "Your E-mail has been sent...", but the emails are scheduled. They show under Pending Scheduled Emails (see below). **Every scheduled email goes out at 8 AM EST.** There's no time picker, so you can't choose another time or a later send on the same day. ### Cancel scheduled emails 1. Open the loan file. 2. Click the **Scheduled Emails/Email History** icon in the file header (the fifth icon). The window is titled Automation Emails/Email History. 3. Under **Pending Scheduled Emails**: - To cancel everything, click **Cancel All**. - To cancel one email, click the red X on its row, then **YES** when asked "Do You Want To Cancel This Scheduled Email ?". Go to CRM \> Back Office Users \> Back Office User List and click the user's name. 2. Scroll to **Special Reports or Features**. 3.
