Borrower cannot edit Loan Application
This is often the case where you send an email to your client/borrower and the loan application will be locked. As shown below in this image.
This is because you have the file status in the settings where a Borrower/Client, Broker/Loan Officer, Branch, or BackOffice cannot edit. This is a permission set by a manager in your company. See this image below, a loan application's file status is currently in "Processing" where if you see below that image, under "Processing" the borrower cannot edit the application. But Borrower can edit application in Lead, Application Started and Completed App.
A manager in your company can edit the permissions for each file status.
