They can represent divisions in your organization, account executives, or even correspondent lending relationships. A branch in LendingWise is a subdivision of your business that can operate with its own loan products, geographic territory, or management structure. Branches are typically managed by a branch manager or account executive who oversees a team of loan officers and brokers. ### Create a branch 1. Go to CRM \> Branch \> Create Branch. You need Manager permissions. 2. Enter the branch details (email, name, phone and so on). Create Branch only shows Branch Info until the first save. 3. Enter a **Password** and **Confirm Password** for the branch login account. 4. Set up the branch's options, such as what its loan officers and brokers see when they log in, its loan programs and its email Bcc. 5. Save. The profile has four tabs: **Branch Info** (contact details and settings), **Docs Library** (documents available to the branch), **Web Form Integration** (embeddable web form settings), and **Required Docs** (documents the branch must collect from borrowers). - **Branch Info** has the branch's contact details, address and settings. The Branch Configuration card starts closed; click it to open it. - **Logging in:** if the branch needs to log in, turn on "Allow to login?" The **Allow Loan Officer Users to See** setting controls which loan files the branch's loan officers can view: - **Assigned Files Only** — loan officers see only files assigned directly to them. - **All files in my Branch** — loan officers see all files within the branch. - **Files in Lead Status / Assigned Files** — loan officers see their assigned files plus any files currently in Lead status, enabling them to pick up new leads. ### Delete a branch In CRM \> Branch \> Branch List, the **ACTIONS** column shows a **Click to deactivate / delete** icon for branches that are eligible to be removed. Deactivating a branch disables its login access; deleting a branch permanently removes the branch record. A locked branch shows "(branch name) branch is primary" there instead. To unlock it, open the branch, open Branch Configuration, untick "Lock branch so it cannot be deleted?" and save. Questions?
