You can create your own custom documents to make them e-signable by a Borrower and Co-Borrower.
You'll need to follow these steps:
- Create your custom document and save it as a PDF file.
- Identify the Field I.D.'s of the form fields you want to populate onto your custom document.
- Copy the Field I.D.'s and then paste them using the "comment icon" on the custom doc PDF in the exact location where you would like the data to populate.
- Submit a ticket here, select "Custom Doc Request" for Ticket Type.
✅ Step-by-Step: Map Field IDs for Custom Document Mapping
Step 1. Navigate to Pipeline > Pipeline - Main > click on the Loan File (Borrower) name.
Step 2. Identify the form field(s) you wish to map onto your custom document (i.e. "First Name").
Step 3. Right-click on the form field and select "Inspect" on the pop up. This brings up the HTML element in the Elements tab of DevTools.
Step 4. In the highlighted area of the Elements tab > Right-click your mouse > click "Copy" > then click "Copy Selector".
This will now copy the Field I.D. of the form field to your clipboard.
Here's a closer look:
Step 5. Now go back to your custom doc in the PDF editor and create a comment bubble where the data will need to populate.
Place the comment bubble where you want the field data to be mapped.
In this example we used the Borrower's First Name.
Now right-click and select "Paste" to insert the Field I.D. #borrowerFName into the comment bubble.
Step 6. Repeat these steps for the rest of the Form Fields you need to map onto your custom esign doc. (i.e. "Last Name", "Property Address", "Loan Amount" etc.)
Important Note: The development cost for custom esign docs will depend upon the following factors:
- Number of Pages.
- Number of Fields per page.
- Complexity of the custom document.
- Special functions i.e. tables, radio buttons, checkboxes etc.
- Assistance from a Support Team member with mapping the fields onto your document.
Great news! You can now use the hours available in your Concierge Service Plan for dedicated support time.
