Fannie Mae 3.4 Import & Export

LendingWise supports importing Fannie Mae 3.4 XML loan application files directly into the platform.

Importing Fannie Mae 3.4 Files

Note: Only 3.4 XML files are supported — the 3.2 format is no longer supported by Fannie Mae. Before importing, verify your file is version 3.4 and that all fields you want populated are enabled in your Form Fields settings. The import tool only maps to fields that are currently active.

Exporting Fannie Mae 3.4 Files

You can export loan files from LendingWise in Fannie Mae (FNMA) 3.4 format. The file downloads as a .xml file to your desktop, which you can then upload to your destination system.

Note: If you encounter import errors in the receiving system, diagnose the issue there — it may be a field that was not exported from LendingWise or was not mapped correctly.
