How to Change or Reset Passwords for LendingWise Users. Whether you forgot your password or just want to update it for security reasons, this guide will walk you through how to change or reset your password quickly and securely.
🔁 To Change Your Password (While Logged In)
If you're already logged into the system and want to update your password:

Click your Profile Icon
Located in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

Select "My Profile"
This will take you to your user settings. -
Click "Change Password"
You’ll see fields to enter your current password and a new one.

Enter Your Current Password
This is required for security. -
Create a New Password
Follow the system’s password rules (e.g., minimum length, special characters). -
Confirm and Save
Click Save Changes to apply your new password.
✅ Success! You’ll now use your new password to log in moving forward.
❌ Forgot Your Password?
No problem! Follow these steps to reset it:

Go to the Login Page

Click “Forget Password?”
You'll be prompted to enter your email address.

Check Your Email
You’ll receive a reset link (usually within a few minutes).
Don’t see it? Check your spam or junk folder. -
Click the Reset Link
This will take you to a secure page to create a new password. -
Set a New Password
Make sure it’s strong and secure. -
Log In with Your New Password
You’re all set!
You have this option for Backoffice, Branches, Broken/Loan Officers and Borrower users.
If you do receive a forgot password, you will see it the following image below.
*Please be advise it will be from either info@mailer.theloanpost.com or from noreply@YOURDOMAINNAME.COM.
The 2nd, noreply@YOURDOMAINNAME.COM will be only if you have the add-on White Label enabled in your account. Which is be driven from the Settings->Company Info -> Platform Settings. Under Company Info -> Owner Email

How to reset/change other Lendingwise user passwords as a "Manager(Admin Rights)" user:
You have the ability to hard reset a users password by navigating to the user profile and locating the password reset icon as shown in the screenshots below:
Zoomed in View:

Enter a password for temporary use for the User and click "Save"

🔒 Password Tips

Use at least 8 characters

Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols

Avoid using easily guessed info (like your name or “password123”)
