The "Create Loan" tab in LendingWise is where users initiate new applications / loan files by entering borrower information, loan details, etc. It’s a core feature that kicks off the loan origination process via a Quick App or Full App.
📝 Create Loan Tab – Summary
You have the option to create a Quick App or Full App to register a new loan file in the LendingWise system. This action assigns the loan to a borrower profile and creates a loan file entry in the Pipeline.
Loan Program / Product Setup (Before “Create Loan”)
Before creating loans, much of the logic & experience depends on how your loan programs are configured:
-
In Settings → Platform Settings → Loan Programs/Services, you can create your own loan programs or use defaults. help.lendingwise.com
-
Each loan program ties into required documents, workflows, which form fields show, loan guidelines, etc.
-
Also, in each Branch Profile, you need to activate the loan programs you want that branch to offer.
That means that when you click the Quick App or Full App tab under the "Create Loan" tab - the system uses these settings to determine:
-
What fields/questions show up (quick vs full app)
-
What required documents are needed
-
What default workflows apply
