# MERS Number Auto or manual Generation

## We now support MERS # Auto-Generation

To enable this feature:

1\) You need to go to Settings -\> Platform Settings -\> Company Info. In the Company Info section, enter your MERS ID and set "Which LendingWise loan identifier to use for MIN auto-generation".

2\) Open each back office user's profile (CRM \> Back Office Users \> Back Office User List \> user) and go to Editing and Visibility Permissions

Set the desired permission for: 

\- Allowed to set MIN ID ? 

\- Allowed to manually set MIN ID ?

The MERS # field will be available as a: 

\- Pipeline Column

\- Excel Exportable field

-Merge tag for Emails & Doc. Wizard Tool Generation

-Webhook

-Open API field 

 

On the loan file, the field is under UNDERWRITING \> 3rd Party Integrations \> Legal Docs, labeled **Enter MERS MIN Number**.

Note:

If you still don't see this new form field, please make sure to enable it in Settings \> Platform Settings \> Form Fields.
