Nested Entities under primary borrowing entity

An entity can have members that are also an entity, going many layers deep

Key Features:

  1. Multi-layered Hierarchy:

    • Each member of a borrowing entity can also be an entity.
    • Members of these entities can also form additional layers, up to 10 levels deep.

    • To begin using nested entities, this feature must be enabled under the Company Profile Settings area.

How to Enable Nested Entities

  1. Navigate to Company Profile Settings:

    • Go to your CRM or LOS dashboard.
    • Click on Settings in the main navigation menu.
    • Select Company Profile.
  2. Enable Nested Entities:

    • Locate the Nested Entities toggle or setting.
    • Turn it ON to enable the feature.
  3. Save Changes:

    • Click Save to apply the changes.
    • Once enabled, the feature will be immediately accessible.

How to Use Nested Entities

  1. Create a Primary Borrowing Entity:

    • Start by creating or selecting a primary borrowing entity in your system.
  2. Add Members as Entities:

    • Under the primary entity, add members as needed. Each member can be set to an individual or entity and those entoes can have additional member entities. 
  3. Build Multi-layered Hierarchies:

    • Within any member entity, you can add further members, building up to 10 levels of nested entity/member relationships.
  4. Manage and Track:

    • Easily view and manage all entities in the hierarchy using the entity overview interface.
