[Main Platform Settings](https://help.lendingwise.com/knowledge/setting-up-the-platform?hsLang=en#main-platform-settings) # Setting up email function in LendingWise ## Setting up your branded emails in LendingWise You can control who your emails appear to come from in Settings \> Platform Settings \> Company Settings \> Email Handling. The recommended option sends emails from the system address, with replies and bounces routed to the user. If you want to send from your own name and email address, you must first configure DKIM and SPF records, as described below. ## How do I set up DKIM & SPF domain settings for white-label email sending? To send emails using your own name and email address under the white-label add-on, contact our support team to configure your DKIM and SPF domain settings. DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) and SPF (Sender Policy Framework) are DNS records that verify your sending domain and protect against email spoofing. Proper configuration of these records ensures maximum email deliverability to the inbox. This process requires an active white-label add-on on your subscription. If you haven't added it yet, you'll need to do so before proceeding. ### Steps to get your DKIM & SPF settings configured 1. Confirm the white-label add-on is active on your subscription. 2. Contact our support team and request DKIM & SPF domain setup. 3. Provide your sending domain so our team can generate the required DNS records. 4. Add the provided DNS records to your domain registrar. 5. Notify our team once the records are added so they can verify the configuration. DNS changes can take up to 24–48 hours to propagate.
