Go to Settings \> Platform Settings \> Company Settings and find the Webform card. Click Save at the bottom of the page after changing it. 2. Find the toggle for: Include **Save & Finish Later** Button on webforms? --- ### How the Setting Works #### ✅ When Enabled (Toggle ON) - A **“Save & Finish Later” button** appears within the webform - Users can: - Save their progress at any point in the application - Exit the form without losing entered data - Return later using a saved link or email prompt (if configured) - Partial applications are stored in the system - Ideal for: - Longer or more complex applications - Scenarios where users may need time to gather information **User Experience:** - The button is visible throughout the form (typically at the bottom) - Clicking it prompts confirmation and may trigger an email with a resume link --- #### ❌ When Disabled (Toggle OFF) - The **“Save & Finish Later” button is hidden** - Users must: - Complete the application in a single session - Restart if they leave before submitting - No partial data is saved unless the form is fully submitted **User Experience:** - Streamlined interface with fewer options - Best suited for: - Short forms - High-conversion, quick-entry workflows --- ### Key Considerations - **Data Capture:** Enabling the feature ensures partial data is not lost, which can improve conversion rates - **User Convenience vs. Simplicity:** - ON = flexibility for users - OFF = faster, distraction-free completion - **Follow-Up Opportunities:** When enabled, saved applications can be used for follow-up workflows or reminders --- ### Best Practices - **Enable** for: - Loan applications - Multi-step Quick app/Full App webforms - Any process requiring detailed input - **Disable** for: - Lead capture forms - Simple registrations - Quick qualification forms --- ### Summary The **“Save & Finish Later” permission setting** directly controls whether users can pause and resume a multi-step webform.
